forty-inch thick locally quarried limestone. This may or may not explain the five-
year delay in completing the building, but does help explain that it is still in use as
a courthouse. This is the oldest working courthouse in the state. The building cost
$15,000 on a donated site and was designed by E. Townshend Mix of Milwaukee
. Those forty-inch blocks of dressed stone were slid to the site over frozen ground.

... the limitations of Arnold as poet, critic, and as a commentator on religion and
philosophy. Eliot points out that Arnold was neither a reactionary nor a
revolutionary. Arnold merely represents "a period of stasis." Eliot also says that in
philosophy Arnold was an undergraduate and in religion a philistine. Arnold's
poetry is merely "academic" and "technically" uninteresting. Literature and
Dogma is merely "a valiant attempt to dodge the issue."2 Eliot's criticism of

cyberspace an anarchic, vulnerable place, full of fear and confusion, a wide-open
frontier town, where the vulnerable are defenseless against assault and ripe for
the plucking by ruthless hands. The Internet, by its very nature, lacks the stability
and other advantages of having a single governing body to handle complaints
