What if peace of mind, beautiful feelings, little or no stress, wonderful, healthy relationships and greater effectiveness, were right at your fingertips, and you held the key but didn't realize it or didn't know how to use it? That is what "Somebody Should Have Told Us!" This book is about how we all have a state of perfect mental health and wisdom inside us that can only be covered up by our own thinking, and how our use of our power of thought creates the "reality" we see, out of which we then think, feel and act. Here are ten simple but profound truths for living well, arising from three spiritual facts that, once grasped or truly realized, can transform one's life. This book has the ability to spawn insights that change the lives of those who come to understand the simple, yet profound wisdom contained in this book. In fact, it already has. This book is the essence of self-help, in that it points people inside themselves for all answers. It shows people how to access their own essence whenever they need to. It shows people how they create their experience of life moment to moment. The book is written in an easy-to-understand manner with many stories of how people's lives have changed. When we were growing up nobody told us what this book points to, but somebody should have told us! And it's never too late. "Modello" is the true story from beginning to end of how Dr. Roger Mills and staff accomplished the "miracle" in the Modello and Homestead Gardens Housing Projects, applying the Three Principles/Health Realization approach based on a new spiritual psychology. Through extensive interviews with residents as well as Dr. Mills, his staff and other professionals, a very compelling and moving portrait is painted of how two low-income, inner-city housing projects replete with violence, crack, drug gangs, abuse, welfare dependency and hopelessness were completely turned around within two-and-a-half years. This book shows how people who lived in the most difficult circumstances were reached, came to find hope and changed their lives. "In all my years in prevention I have never seen this level of change in people!" It is a truly inspirational story. The lives of people on whom society has given up were completely turned around. At the same time it is a sociological study. It shows how a new and different inside-out, spiritual paradigm, which on the surface seems too simple and backwards to possibly work in such overwhelming conditions, can produce incredible results and create changes in people's lives that stand head and shoulders above the traditional outside-in paradigm for prevention, human services, social work, community development and education. It has vast implications for improving humanity's social ills. About the Author Jack Pransky, Ph.D. is founder/director of the Center for Inside-Out Understanding. Just when you thought you've heard it all-"Parenting from the Heart" offers a new and different, refreshing approach to parenting. This easy-to-understand, down-to-earth book moves beyond parenting theories and techniques to get to the heart of parenting. If parents know how to find a loving connection with their children at most times, discipline and consequences are rarely necessary. All parents have it within them to bring out the best in their children. Approaching parents in this way makes parenting a true pleasure instead of the battle and chore it often becomes. Many so-called experts say that raising kids is the toughest job any of us will ever do, but it does not have to be that way. It can be the most joyful thing any of us will ever do. One Thought Changes Everything
Author: Mara Gleason
Publisher: Createspace Independent Publishing Platform
This book is the story of human beings and how we create our experience of reality. But perhaps more importantly, how when any of us truly understands how we create reality, surprising and profound changes occur in our lives and in the world around us. "One Thought Changes Everything" begins with a moment in Mara Gleason's life, at 11-years old, when her father came across an understanding of the mind that dramatically changed him as a father and business leader. Her curiosity in what exactly changed him led her down the path of training and then a career sharing these principles of the mind with people from all walks of life. From the man at an IT company who decided to stop living in his basement and stop hitting his daughter, to the professional athlete who began living out his dreams again after having given up, to the US Marine who realized a deeper love for humanity than he ever knew was possible, she has observed this understanding profoundly influence the lives of her clients, and the lives of those around them. Gleason weaves together personal, humorous and deeply touching stories of her own new thoughts that have changed the trajectory of her life, as well as those of her clients. We follow her throughout her evolution in life and career to today when Gleason shares perhaps her biggest new thought yet - that this understanding of the mind is the one thing that would solve every global issue of our time. She offers the radically hopeful, yet simple message that at the source of all issues, whether personal, organizational, or global is the misunderstanding of the mind that pervades society today. The change we see in her father, in Mara herself, and in her clients when they discover how the mind truly works, are the very same changes that would dissolve the greatest issues of our time from terrorism and war to addictions, inequality, and climate change. There is not a single issue humanity faces that is not fueled by a misunderstanding of the mind, and that could absolutely be solved by a new understanding. Whether you want to understand yourself better, your relationships, your business, or the world at large, "One Thought Changes Everything" offers a a quietly simple solution that just may rock your world, and in turn change the world.

A FRESH TAKE ON THE INBORN CHARACTERISTIC OF RESILIENCE Most people are convinced that the key to rising above a perceived problem is to think about it, analyze all angles, and try hard to solve it. But the fact is: Problems in the world are mounting. War, famine, and strife exist at alarming rates. Not to mention that the level of respect within our families and communities seems to be fraying. Simply put, our behavior is not up to par these days; it is spiraling downward. Why? We’re not connecting the dots. In the arenas of psychology, teaching, coaching, and parenting, we’re using behavioral strategies to boost inner levels of clarity and consciousness—to no avail. So, if focusing on behavior isn’t working, what will? The Path of No Resistance provides a brand-new look at how human beings really overcome adversity. Along the way, Garret Kramer reveals the astonishing truth about what creates our troubles in the first place. And what we already know, deep down, that allows us to prosper in spite of any circumstance or situation. Offering an array of examples, Kramer demonstrates that resilience and contentment are—in principle—innate to everyone. He insists that calculated self-help methods are not the answer, and explains why insight, not intellect, is what fuels our ability to excel and give back to others.

The best-selling phenomenon from Japan that shows us a minimalist life is a happy life. Island of Knowledge
Author: Linda Quiring
Publisher: CCB Publishing
In 1974 Linda Quiring moved to Salt Spring Island, British Columbia to ‘find’ herself. Salt Spring Island was one of the centers for the counter-culture movement in Canada; home to hippies and back-to-the-landers. Soon, Linda encountered an enlightened man, Sydney Banks, and became his first student. Together they wrote Island of Knowledge under Linda’s authorship, detailing Syd’s teachings and the profound changes those listening experienced in their lives, health and relationships. Sydney Banks would ultimately become renowned for his revelation of The Three Principles inherent in those teachings. Linda and Syd remained friends until his passing in 2009. Before his death, Syd approached Linda about the possibility of getting Island of Knowledge republished. However, embarrassed by the ‘hippy’ jargon of the 1970’s, Syd asked that references to the times be changed. In deciding what should be left in, what changed, and what taken out, Linda and her publisher realized the book was in fact an important historical account of an amazing time and place and that to tamper with the integrity of the book would be a great disservice, thus it is republished exactly as is.

A WALL STREET JOURNAL BEST-SELLING BOOK NAMED BY THE WASHINGTON POST AS ONE OF THE 11 LEADERSHIP BOOKS TO READ IN 2018 Radical Inclusion: What the Post-9/11 World Should Have Taught Us About Leadership examines today’s leadership landscape and describes the change it demands of leaders. Dempsey and Brafman persuasively explain that today’s leaders are in competition for the trust and confidence of those they lead more than ever before. They assert that the nature of power is changing and should not be measured by degree of control alone. They offer principles for adaptation and bring them to life with examples from business, academia, government, and the military. In building their argument, Dempsey and Brafman introduce several concepts that illuminate both the vulnerability and the opportunity in leading today: Radical Inclusion. Fear of losing control in our fast-paced, complex, highly scrutinized environment is pushing us toward exclusion―exactly the wrong direction. Leaders should instead develop an instinct for inclusion. The word “radical” emphasizes the urgency of doing so. The Era of the Digital Echo. The speed and accessibility of information create “digital echoes” that make facts vulnerable, eroding the trust between leader and follower. Relinquishing Control to Preserve Power. Power and control once went hand in hand, but no longer. In today’s environment, control is seductive but unlikely to produce optimum, affordable, sustainable solutions. Leaders must relinquish and share control to build and preserve power. The principles discussed in Radical Inclusion are memorable and the book is full of engaging stories. From a young vegan’s confrontation with opponents in Berkeley to a young lieutenant’s surprising visitor during the Cold War, from a reflection on the significance of Burning Man to a discussion of challenges faced in the Situation Room, Radical Inclusion will provide you with leadership tools to address real leadership challenges.
